Shopping Center Olimpia Wins Award as the Best Shopping Center in the Baltics!
Shopping center Olimpia has received a prestigious award in the Best Shopping Center category at the significant Baltic real estate industry event, Baltic Real Estate Awards 2025. The award was granted in recognition of a successful reconstruction and sustainable development, which has made Olimpia one of the most sought-after shopping destinations in Riga.
The center is owned by the real estate fund Indexo Real Estate Fund, managed by Provendi Asset Management AIFP.
“This award is not only recognition but also confirmation that Olimpia has become a major success story on a Baltic scale. The acquisition of Olimpia was a thoughtful decision based on a clear long-term vision. We saw the unique potential of this property and deliberately worked to make the acquisition a reality — it is an honor to manage such a popular shopping center,” emphasized Kristaps Bērziņš, head of Provendi Asset Management AIFP.
Liene Apine, the manager of the Olimpia shopping center, highlights: “We greatly value this recognition – it proves that our strategic approach and investments are delivering results. ‘Olimpia’ is a testament to how professional management and vision can transform a property into a beloved shopping destination. Following an ambitious reconstruction, ‘Olimpia’ has experienced a true revival – it is no longer just a renovated building but a thoughtfully created environment with its own identity, attractive to both shoppers and tenants. I am especially proud that during these changes we significantly improved interior quality, making the space more modern and functional, while also implementing sustainable solutions – including energy-efficient lighting and a solar panel park that brings real benefits to both the shopping center and the surrounding environment.”
After its ambitious reconstruction, Olimpia has become a popular outlet center for sports and active lifestyles in Latvia, uniting brands like Nike Outlet, Adidas Factory Outlet, Puma Factory Outlet, Sportland Outlet, Skechers Outlet, Trespass, Latswim, and the largest Sports Direct in the Baltics. Covering 25,000 m², the center houses more than 60 tenants, including a modernized Rimi hypermarket, a 24/7 self-service gym Gym!, family entertainment park Adventica, the largest beauty product store in the Baltics – Tradehouse, and a large dining area with 10 cafés.
